Restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses softly for a longer duration whilst being supported by props like yoga blocks, blankets, cushions and bolsters.
During this 2hour Restorative Yoga practice we connect to our breath to assist us in letting go of tension in the physical body, mind and spirit and create an inner landscape of spaciousness, harmony and flexibility.
Restorative Yoga activates the parasympathetic nervous system our "rest and digest" which slows the heart rate, lowers blood pressure & the all important vagus nerve, which makes up 75% of the parasympathetic nervous system.
This 2hour Restorative Yoga Circle is offered at the LoveLight Temple in Margate guided by Areti.
Yoga isn’t about how you look in the shapes we take it’s about how it makes you FEEL.
During Winter Season we will light the fire 🔥 place for added warm.
This is a Women’s Restorative circle.
6:30pm till 8:30pm
All props are supplied, just bring your open heart and your favourite light throw blanket if you wish for added comfort & your water bottle.
