MAA Arts In Bloom: Dueling Designers

MAA Arts In Bloom, patterned after the popular Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, will feature the floral designs of local garden club members, floral shop owners, and others from the floral design community. Participating designers will be paired with a piece of art from the MAA’s current Variations exhibit, which they will interpret to create floral masterpieces.

On Sunday June 8th, don't miss this special ticketed event where two talented floral designers will each interpret the same piece of art—live. Expect surprising contrasts, inspiring techniques, light refreshments, and floral arrangements offered as door prizes.

About the “Dueling Designers”.

Ginny von Rueden and Laurie Boggis of the Driftwood Garden Club have led many workshops and participated in Art in Bloom at the MFA for several years. They are also co-coordinators of the highly-popular, annual King Hooper Mansion Christmas decorating in which all local garden clubs are invited to participate. These decorations can be seen through the month of December.

Doors open at noon to veiw the Arts In Bloom arrangements and the Variations 2025 Exhibit.
