A proposal has been submitted to build an auto repair shop, service station, convenience store — and a truck stop on Route 44 near the 422 entrance/exit.

While Auburn Township supports a repair shop, service station, and small convenience store, we stand firmly against the addition of a truck stop.

❗ Why This Matters:

Truck stops may support the trucking industry —
but they also bring serious risks to small communities like ours:
• ⚠️ Increased crime (including theft, human trafficking, and violent offenses)
• 🚛 More traffic congestion and noise
• 🌫️ Greater pollution and safety concerns

The individual behind this proposal is pushing hard.
It’s time for us to push back even harder — with unity and purpose!
