Come along to free workshops hosted by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board to unlock the potential of carbon farming. We’ll provide the latest local information on this new buzz term and explain emissions reduction and how to calculate your carbon footprint.

• Carbon Calculator Deeper Dive Workshop (12.15pm - 2.45pm)

Note, to attend the carbon calculator workshop only, you must have already attended a beginner's guide workshop or have a good understanding of carbon farming already.

What you’ll learn:

Beginner's Guide to Carbon Farming-

• What is carbon farming? Understand the concept and its applications.
• Benefits for on-farm productivity: Explore how carbon farming can benefit your farm’s efficiency and output.
• Generating carbon credits: Can you earn credits, and what to consider.
• Carbon footprint: Learn what it is and why reducing it is critical.

Carbon Calculator Deeper Dive -

• Calculating carbon footprint: Learn about the different carbon calculators and how to measure your emissions intensity.

An early lunch will be provided 11.45am - 12.15pm. Morning and afternoon tea also provided.
