Helvellyn via the ridges

Tackle Helvellyns most famous route, via Striding & Swirral Edge.

Starting from the main carpark in Glenridding, we will take the route up onto Birkhouse Moor, Striding Edge and onto Helvellyn. Dropping on to Swirral Edge to begin our descent, we have the added option of taking in Catstye Cam if we are feeling energetic, and then back down the valley to Glenridding.

This is an excellent day out, and great intro to grade 1 scrambling with our fully qualified and highly experienced Guide helping you every step of the way.
