Drum Power's 12th Annual Africa Night

Experience the rhythm and spirit of Drum Power at the 12th Annual Africa Night!

This dynamic, citywide showcase celebrates students from 3rd through 12th grade who have grown not only as musicians but as leaders, teammates, and disciplined individuals—representing our Pillars of Power: Discipline, Community, and Leadership. Under the direction of Yorel Lashley, the evening will spotlight talented youth from Madison Metropolitan Schools, including Lowell and Leopold Elementary and O’Keeffe Middle School. Join us for a night of powerful performances and inspiring growth!

The performances will also feature guests artists Salia Camara, master dancer, and musicians from Limanya Drum and Dance Ensemble.

Suggested donation: $10 for adults and $5 for children
Africa Night is free for families of performers.
