The Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Council in conjunction with the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce host this event that recognizes area producers and ag businesses in Madison, Antelope, Wayne, Pierce, Stanton, Boone and northern Platte counties for their contributions to the economic well-being of our area communities. The banquet emphasizes the link between the business and agricultural communities. Open to the public, tickets are available through the Norfolk Chamber office. This annual event features a social hour, dinner, and a keynote speaker.
The primary focus of this event is to recognize and award area youth with continuing agri-business education scholarships. In the last nine years, scholarships totaling $36,750 have been awarded to 45 deserving area high school seniors and college students. Several deserving students, will be presented 2025 Northeast Nebraska Ag Community Scholarships, and the 2024 Norfolk Beef Expo scholarship recipients will be recognized that evening. It is the Council’s goal to continue growing this event in order to increase the number and dollar amounts of scholarships awarded. Scholarship applications can be found at
