Academic Calendar Conversation Cafe

Dear all

As part of our ongoing work to continuously review and improve our business processes and systems, we are now undertaking a review of our Academic Calendar.

In 2022/23 a nominal 5-year calendar was put in place to enable the University to fulfil internal and external needs for dates in advance. The intention was to review this calendar at intervals to ensure that it was still fit for purpose of both the External and internal environments. Over the course of the last 3 years several amendments have been made to the structure of the calendar in response to internal feedback.

The University would now like to undertake a formal consultation on the direction of the calendar with a particular focus on the placement of resits and the structure of Semesters with a particular focus on whether we retain the third semester.

You are therefore invited to participate in this consultation, we will be holding conversation cafes at the following times and hope you can join us.
