The second edition of Undercover will feature Miami-based electro-pop duo Afrobeta.
Afrobeta serves up a kaleidoscopic blend of electronic, funk, and Latin rhythms that transforms every stage into a dance-fueled celebration. Known for their high-energy live shows and genre-defying sound, Afrobeta is a staple of the South Florida music scene, with festival appearances at Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle, Joshua Tree Music Festival, and Louisville’s own Galaxie.
Their Emmy Award-winning documentary Birthright was picked up for national broadcast by PBS, cementing their reputation as both sonic innovators and cultural storytellers.
For this special Louisville show, Afrobeta reunites with hometown hero Dani Markham—a powerhouse percussionist who first met the duo while studying at the University of Miami. From Louisville to international stages with Childish Gambino and Tune-Yards, Dani brings the heat back home for one unforgettable night.
