Albert Sammons, Jr. sings at Foothills

Albert Sammons Jr. will join us as guest vocalist for our worship service on Sunday June 22. Albert will sing an interesting mix of tunes for the introit offertory and musical amen: a song by Vaughan Williams a spiritual and a Sondheim tune.

Albert has been singing for over 60 years. He is a bass-baritone with a love for singing Negro/Black spirituals. Albert says “I’m honored to be asked to sing at Foothills. I’m a chorister at heart. Singing is my joy.”​
