Rainbow Lagoon Park (Long Beach, CA)
Held at picturesque Rainbow Lagoon, the Original Long Beach Lobster Festival returns for another year! It's a jam-packed day of live entertainment, fun activities and, of course, delicious lobster. All the lobster is flown in nightly from Maine, and will be available, once inside the festival, for additional purchase. In addition to lobster steamed in the world's largest cooker, lobster rolls, sliders and even lobster-on-a-stick, there'll be a food court serving up all kinds of tasty eats, plus beer, wine and specialty drinks (like the "Screaming Lobster"), arts-and-crafts booths, a live sports tent, a karaoke lounge on Friday and Saturday night, dancing and live DJ, Hollywood Stones (the best of the Stones Live!), Decades Dance Band ('70s + '80s hits) on Saturday, and Knyght Ryder and cover rock band The TRIP on Sunday. Flashpants, winner of "The Gong Show", will also perform. There'll even be a magic act as seen on "America's Got Talent". And there's plenty for the kids to do, too: crafts, face painting, games, inflatable bounces and more. A complimentary souvenir e-photo is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
