We live in tumultuous times and are often pushed forward without a chance to make space for our experiences of grief and loss. Through meditation, multi-media collage, and a one-word prompt, this workshop is an opportunity to hold space for our most precious truths and tender experiences. Please join us as we set aside this time as a community to honor the things and people we may be grieving.
Madison Girifalco a Los Angeles-based puppet fabricator, immersive artist, and the founder of Holding Space. Holding Space is an art installation designed to acknowledge joy and grief through immersive arts and puppetry. Along with her artistic works, she has written two illustrated books including Dead Pen, a collection of drawings and stories inspired by one-word prompts.
