🏔 Welcome to the Snowdon Adventure Challenge 2025
On Saturday 20th September, teams will take on a unique test of endurance, teamwork, and grit as they tackle the Snowdon Adventure Challenge - all in support of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
đź’Ş The Challenge
This isn’t your average hike.
Each team of 3–6 will navigate Snowdon’s rugged terrain, completing a range of physical and mental team-based challenges along the way. It’s a full day on the mountain and around Llanberis —testing resilience, communication, and camaraderie.
Each team will earn points for every challenge completed and every step climbed. It's not about being first. It’s about showing what you’re made of.
💙 Why We’re Doing This
Every day, more than 130 people in the UK are diagnosed with lung cancer. It’s the biggest cancer killer, and yet often underfunded and misunderstood.
Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the leading lung cancer charity in the UK dedicated to helping everyone affected by lung cancer.
Lung cancer is a disease that, despite what many may think, can affect anyone.
It is the UK’s biggest cancer killer, with over 36,000 dying from lung cancer every year - It kills more people than breast, prostate and pancreatic cancer combined, and more women than breast and ovarian cancer combined - It is our mission to ensure everyone diagnosed with lung cancer can live well with the disease for as long as possible.
🎯 The Goal
Together, we’re aiming to raise thousands of pounds to fund life changing lung cancer research and support. Each team is committing to a minimum fundraising target of £2,000 - and every penny makes a difference.
