Join us for an evening of slow stitching and skill-sharing. Discover the slow art of knitwear repair in this practical workshop focused on Duplicate Stitch and Swiss Darning techniques. Participants will learn how to replicate knit stitches on stockinette knits, recover dropped stitches, and practise repairing a small hole. All materials are provided—no prior experience necessary! All in a relaxed, welcoming environment that encourages community, conversation, and connection.
About Selina
Selina Latour is an interdisciplinary artist from Montreal, Canada, currently based in South East London. Her practice in textiles and Relational Art is rooted in pedagogy, care, slowness, and repair. She facilitates participatory projects that invite the public to connect through traditional textile techniques and collective making. Teaching and learning are central to her work, often taking the form of informal workshops, and facilitation in community craft spaces.
