In response to the recent devastation caused by tornadoes in our region, First Baptist Church of London is hosting a powerful evening of encouragement, unity, and healing on Sunday, June 22nd at 5:00 PM. This free event is open to the public and will take place at First Baptist Church, 804 W 5th Street, London, KY.
The evening will feature:
• Chris Blue - Winner of The Voice Season 12, known for his soulful performances and inspiring personal story, will lead in music and worship.
• Michael Casada - Pastor at Sunshine Hills Baptist Church. Their building was completely destroyed in the tornado.
• Brad Hendrix - Pastor at Hart Baptist Church. Their church is located at ground zero and their congregation has worked tirelessly in the clean-up efforts.
• Jeff Sheppard - Former UK basketball player and Laurel County resident, whose family has been actively involved in tornado relief efforts.
• And a special video message of encouragement from Jimmy Dykes - former basketball coach and current ESPN college basketball analyst.
This special gathering is a chance for our community to come together, reflect, and find renewed hope after facing the destruction left by the recent storms. Attendees will experience uplifting music, words of encouragement, and a shared spirit of resilience.
