Step je umetniška zvrst afroameriškega izvora, pri kateri plesalec s step čevlji ustvarja zvoke ob udarjanju po tleh. Zaradi tega je izvajalec hkrati tako plesalec kot glasbenik.
Če že plešeš swing, ti bo step pomagal poglobiti razumevanje gibanja telesa (zlasti prenosa teže), izboljšati ritmično natančnost korakov ter razumeti, kako glasbo ustvarjati in ne zgolj plesati nanjo. Postal_a boš glasbenik_ca in plesalec_ka v enem.

Tap Dance is a Black American art form, that uses the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. This makes the performer, both a dancer and a musician.
If you already are a Swing Dancer, Tap Dancing will help you develop a deeper understanding of the body movement (specially how to apply the weight), to be precise with the rhythm of the steps, and to understant how to actually do music, and not only dance to it (you will become a musician/dancer).
