Sweelinck Tournee 2025
Graz – Zagreb – Ljubljana
At the Church of St. James in Ljubljana we will host the J.Pzn Sweelinck University Orchestra from Amsterdam the oldest student symphony orchestra in Amsterdam (founded in 1878) comprising around 80 young musicians – students from Dutch universities conservatories and higher education institutions.
V cerkvi sv. Jakoba v Ljubljani bomo gostili Univerzitetni orkester J.Pzn Sweelinck iz Amsterdama najstarejši študentski simfonični orkester v Amsterdamu (ustanovljen leta 1878) ki ga sestavlja približno 80 mladih glasbenikov – študentov nizozemskih univerz konservatorijev in visokih šol.
Under the baton of conductor Jurjen Hempel they will perform a beautiful program of classical music. Pod vodstvom dirigenta Jurjena Hempela bodo izvedli čudovit program klasične glasbe:
Benjamin Britten – Four Sea Interludes from the opera Peter Grimes
Franz Schubert – Symphony No. 8 in B minor (“Unfinished”)
Jean Sibelius – Symphony No. 1 in E minor
The concert is free of charge with open doors for all lovers of classical music. Vstop na koncert je prost vrata pa odprta vsem ljubiteljem klasične glasbe.
