Valley Family Child Care Association (VFCCA) of Alameda County is excited to announce Symposium 2025 will educate parents and providers in our community about Measure C and the second half of the event, the Family Fair, will provide attendees the opportunity to connect and engage with other community members.

The Symposium will be divided into 2 sessions:
Morning Session: We will be having an educational session regarding Measure C for parents and Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers.
Time: 10:00 am-1:00 pm
Presented by First 5 of Alameda County
Parents and ECE providers will learn about Measure C and how it will benefit them.
Presented by Child Care Law Center
Parents and ECE Providers will be given tips and tools on how to advocate for their children and programs.
Presented by Hively
Parents and ECE Providers will learn about UPK and the Mixed Delivery System.
Lunch will be provided.
Afternoon Session: We will be having a Family Fair for Parents, ECE Providers and the Community.
Time: 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
The second half of the symposium will be our family fair - filled with fun activities for children and local food vendors.
Booth registrants will get an opportunity to advertise their programs and services while making connections with local child care providers.
