MEETING #47! Please mark your calendars, cancel all your travel plans, and meet all your fish nerd friends! Come on down to visit our good friends at Finatics Aquarium 1494 N Vasco rd, Livermore CA!
Our live auction has been rather fun, so we will continue that format.
We’ve taken notes regarding requests and suggestions, so we’ll have improved systems for all the fun things we do. In addition, there’ll be some more fun prizes!
Please take note, for sake of fairness times and rules are being posted here. Following the rules is helpful advice on how to help us all have a successful event.
Event begins at 11am. Feel free to show up early if you’d like to help set up. We really appreciate it!
Basic advice-
-If you plan to bring many items to auction, please show up 10-15 minutes early.
-Please have payment ready before bidding.
-Please bring cash if you wish to bid, preferably small bills. Some people use peer to peer apps, but not everyone.
-If you’re planning to auction anything, mark both the item and the auction sheet with your initials and a lot number starting with #1. Example- Neil Patrick Harris shows up at our awesome fish party, and wants to auction two items, so he marked them “NPH1” and “NPH2”.
-Not a bad idea to bring a pen. And maybe a snack.
-Please consider donating the proceeds of any auction to the club. 100% of funds are invested into future meetings.
-If you have any ideas about how our meetings could be improved please feel free share them.
-This is OUR club (all of us), and WE (anyone who participates) has a say in how to make it better.
