Garden and Forest Stewardship Day

Join the E.M.B.A.R.C. Rangers in this joint Garden and Forest clean up day. Participants will be able to choose to either work in the pollinator garden or forest.

In the garden, participants will help the rangers to W**d and remove grasses and other unwanted plants around the pollinator garden. This will help pollinator plants, such as bee balm, mountain mint, bachelor button, etc. be able to spread and flourish to bring in additional bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

In the forest, participants will help the rangers work with the park's Invasive Species Management Plan as we move around the property removing invasive species as well as pick up trash and do some trail maintenance work. This will help us return the forest to it's most natural state.

Please dress weather-appropriate with close-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. If you have your own gloves, please bring them. We will provide the necessary tools as well as extra gloves and water.
