Hand In Hand

Explore the wonders of nature with your young child through hikes, activities, and stories!

Hand-in-Hand is designed for children ages 2.5 to 7 and an accompanying adult to learn, discover, and enjoy nature together. Plan to spend the full hour outdoors and check in at the Prairie Building 10 minutes before the program starts.

Possible themes include:
- What’s In a Cloud?
- Color and Shapes in Nature
- Creepy Crawlies
- Animal Homes
- All About Trees
- Texture Adventures
- Water Wonders
- Winged Friends

Two children per adult are allowed, provided the adult can stay actively engaged with both children. Please register by the Wednesday before the program—no drop-ins allowed. Refund requests must be submitted before the registration deadline.

$4/child and accompanying adult is free.
