About the event

Impacts of Drought
Join Conservation Nebraska, Nebraska Extension, and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln for an event exploring the far-reaching effects of drought on Nebraska’s environment, agriculture, and communities.

Ben Beckman of Nebraska Extension will discuss how drought conditions are challenging livestock management across the state, offering insights from his work.

Kelly Smith from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will provide a broader view of how drought is influencing Nebraska’s climate, water resources, and long-term sustainability.

Together, we’ll explore how Nebraska's communities can adapt to shifting environmental conditions and explore practical strategies for greater drought resilience.
