1st Saturday Nature Walk

First Saturday Nature Walk at LLELA

Join us for our monthly naturalist-led nature walk and discover what’s happening in the preserve this season. No two hikes are ever the same—depending on the time of year, we might encounter blooming wildflowers, deer tracks in the mud, butterflies drifting across the prairie, or the songs of nesting birds deep in the woods.

This guided walk is a great way to slow down, observe the world around you, and learn more about the plants and wildlife that call LLELA home. All ages are welcome, and the hike is suitable for anyone comfortable walking for about two hours on natural surfaces.

Date: First Saturday of every month
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Location: LLELA Nature Preserve, Lewisville, TX

There is no additional fee for this program but registration is required. There is the regular $5 per vehicle entrance fee, payable by credit or debit card only at the gate. No cash is accepted.

This is an ongoing program, so mark your calendar for the first Saturday of each month and come walk with us year-round as the seasons change.
