Award winning watercolourist Janice Opie will be conducting a watercolour workshop for the creation of “Cool Creek” using a rich unsaturated palette. This three hour workshop includes watercolour techniques such as wet in wet, wet on dry, negative painting, lost edges and more. Janice will give a step by step demo then guide students in their own creation. Students need to have some watercolour experience.

What students need to bring:
140lb watercolour paper around 9”x12”
A support for paper
Watercolour brushes
Water container
Paper towel
Palette
Pigments (suggested colours are thalo blue, viridian green, lemon yellow, ultra marine blue, paynes grey or neutral tint, burnt sienna. Any favourites as well if preferred).
