The Lewes Public Library and Coastal Concerts Join Forces
to present Serafin Ensemble
2025 SummerScape Performance Series

As part of the first annual 2025 SummerScape Performance Series at the Lewes Public Library, the Library and Coastal Concerts are proud to co-host a series of three free concerts by the Serafin Ensemble, an internationally acclaimed chamber ensemble. The concerts will be held at the Lewes Library’s new outdoor performance pavilion on June 11ᵗʰ, 18ᵗʰ and 25ᵗʰ at 7 p.m. All programs run for approximately 60-70 minutes followed by an artists’ mingle.
The Serafin Ensemble, under the direction of Kate Ransom, violin & artistic director, is a group of internationally acclaimed performing artists (string, wind, brass, piano, and vocalists) devoted to collaborative chamber music performances of repertoire for up to eight players. The ensemble evolved from the former Serafin String Quartet and continues the nearly two-decade-long Serafin legacy of passionate commitment to presenting exceptional performances of small ensemble repertoire. The ensemble prepares and shares with audiences performances of great masterworks and lesser-known works for an unconducted ensemble. This summer series includes the following programs:
