July 6th 11-1 Tumbled “Seaglass” Tree Workshop With artist Kim Brown

In this workshop, participants will learn how to create a Christmas tree using tumbled glass (which resembles seaglass). We will create a tree using a 7” cardboard cone, and the finished product will be about 10” tall. Please be aware that, although the glass is tumbled, some edges may still be sharp, requiring careful handling during and after assembly.
The trees make great gifts, and while they are great beachy holiday décor, many people choose to keep them out all year long!
All materials and supplies will be provided.
No two trees are exactly the same, but a photo of a sample tree is provided for your reference here.
By completing this registration, you confirm that you accept and understand the following:
· When engaging in any craft or art project, you may be using tools and materials such as glue and heat guns, kraft knives, glass, shells, and chemicals (this list is representative, not all-inclusive and other tools and materials may be used). By completing this registration and payment, you agree to knowingly and freely assume all risk of injury or harm, both known and unknown, even if arising from the environment or negligence of the property owner, instructor, or other and you assume full responsibility and risk for your participation.
· There are no public bathrooms available at Shore Marketplace. Please make necessary preparations before you attend class.
· Any special needs seating or other arrangements must be requested in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
If you are registering for more than just yourself, you must make your guest aware of all the information included in this registration.
Cancellation policy: You will receive a credit toward another class by artist Kim Brown, of Ocean Echo's, if she is notified of cancellation at least one week prior to class date, No Shows will not be credited or refunded!
