Pinewood Derby at Brunswick Beer Xchange!

Join us for a Pinewood Derby at Brunswick Beer Xchange and enjoy a day of nostalgic fun for a good cause. Channel your inner-Cub Scout and design your own pinewood derby car for some fierce competition!

Registration is $50 and includes:
- An official Boy Scouts of America Pinewood Derby Car Kit
- A generous donation to the Scouts
- $20 per fee is entered to the pot awarded to the top racers

Register in-person at BBX, we've got the kits ready for you to get started! Participants must be 21+ and must purchase their kit from BBX - but family and friends of all ages are welcome to attend!

We will be using the official Boy Scouts of America rules and regulations:

All cars must pass the following inspection to qualify for the race:

Width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches.
Length shall not exceed 7 inches.
Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces.
Axles, wheels, and body shall be from the materials provided in the kit. Additional wheels can be purchased separately.
Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
No lubricating oil may be used. Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
No loose materials of any kind are allowed in the car.
