Join Melissa Roberts from Wild Wellness NEPA and Dannielle Bennett from Connected Fungirl Wellness on Sunday, June 22 at 2:00 PM for a unique guided hike at Lehman Sanctuary focusing on edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms.
Learn tools and techniques to identify a variety of plants and mushrooms, gaining insights into their uses, benefits, preparations, and more. It's an ideal opportunity to connect with nature and deepen your understanding of the environment around you.
Please note that although we'll be discussing edible plants and mushrooms, we will not be harvesting or consuming them during this event. Complimentary warm chaga mushroom tea will be provided, however.
This hike will be held outdoors and may be rescheduled in the event of heavy storms. Make sure to wear treaded shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Don’t forget water! This event is suitable for ages 10 and older.

Portion of proceeds benefit Lehman Sanctuary, a nonprofit designated for environmental education located in Luzerne county. The sanctuary is home to old growth forested wetlands, natural Prairie Grass and wildflowers meadow and a thriving wildlife habitat.
