Be part of something transformative! Affordably Lavish Foundation invites you to help complete two beautiful homes for deserving Lee County families. Our innovative homes feature contemporary designs, smart technology, and eco-friendly elements that working-class families can afford—because everyone "deserves a chance to afford a space they truly love."
These aren't your standard affordable houses - they're hurricane-resistant, energy-efficient homes built to last generations. With R-30 insulation, impact windows, smart home features, and energy-efficient appliances, these homes will provide not just shelter but long-term stability and reduced living costs for essential workers in our community.
Your volunteer efforts will directly benefit local essential workers—the healthcare staff, firefighters, police officers, teachers, hospitality workers, and other vital community members who keep Lee County running but often struggle to afford housing near their workplaces. Many of these families currently face housing insecurity or long commutes due to being priced out of conventional housing options.
Join ALF as we put the finishing touches on these homes before welcoming two deserving families to their new beginning. Whether, you're planting gardens, painting walls, or adding custom touches that make a house feel like home, your contribution matters!

Landscaping Team
Transform bare yards into beautiful, sustainable gardens that welcome families home by joining the Landscaping Team, where volunteers will plant native Florida shrubs and flowering plants around both homes, creating curb appeal while establishing eco-friendly, low-maintenance landscapes. To support this effort, we're seeking in-kind donations of native Florida plants and shrubs, mulch and topsoil, sod, and pavers. Volunteers should come prepared with their own garden gloves, shovels, trowels, and rakes, along with sunscreen, hats, and water bottles to stay comfortable while working outdoors in the Florida climate.
The Lavish Touch Team
Help create the "lavish" in Affordably Lavish by joining The Lavish Touch Team, where volunteers will build custom, styled wood mailboxes for each home and install decorative finishes that elevate these affordable homes with contemporary design elements. Your work will focus on crafting personalized mailboxes and creating statement features that add personality and modern style to each home. All essential supplies will be provided, including measuring tape and levels, power drills, screwdrivers, and basic hand tools, along with custom wall fixtures and materials, plus design templates and detailed instructions to guide your work. Volunteers should come dressed in comfortable work clothes and must wear closed-toe shoes for safety while working on these finishing touches that will make each house truly feel like a home.
