🧺 Picnic in the Park!

Location: Roundhay Park, Leeds. We will be meeting by the bandstand near the Lakeside Cafe.

The Leeds and District Network are hosting a summer picnic at Roundhay Park on Saturday 8th June. It will be a relaxed social event and an opportunity to meet others affected by IBD in some way - it would be great to see you and all are welcome, friends and family included!

We will be meeting by the bandstand nearest to the Lakeside Cafe within Roundhay Park. Parking is free, and there is a car park at the end of Park Avenue by the Lakeside Cafe (postcode of the cafe is LS8 2JL). There is also an accessible toilet in the Lakeside Cafe.

Volunteers will be wearing purple T-shirts and will be stationed near the cafe if you need pointing in the direction of the bandstand.

Please note that we won’t be providing food, chairs or picnic blankets, so please bring your own to the event. In the event of bad weather, the event will not go ahead.

Please check our Facebook page on the morning of the event for a weather update, but we would advise not attending if it is raining as this is an outdoor event.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
