one of our favourite artists returns to one of his favourite venues.
With a career spanning over 30 years and over 30 albums, with over a half a million record sales and thousands of live shows, Martyn Joseph continues to thrill audiences with his world-class songwriting and impassioned performances. The bold, emotional content of his songs, mixed with some admirable politics and ethics (as a man and as an artist) has won him many fans, friends and supporters.
His awards cabinet is impressive too, including the Fatea Lifetime Achievement Award (2018) for his impactful songwriting and dedication to social activism through music; and the Phil Ochs Award (2020) for his music and his ongoing dedication to political justice.
The most recent album, ‘This Is What I Want To Say’ (2024), received critical acclaim, described as “masterful and career defining” by Fatea Magazine. The album was supported by a sold-out UK tour, along with performances in Europe and North America.
