Change is Good, Inclusion is Better: Neurodiversity and Change Management
Change is constant, but the way we manage it doesn't have to be. Are we setting everyone up for success, including neurodiverse colleagues?

About this Event

Workplace change is constant, but the way we manage it doesn’t have to be. Are we truly setting everyone up for success, including our neurodivergent colleagues?
Come and be part of an important conversation at our panel talk, where we’ll move beyond awareness and dive into actionable steps for building more inclusive and effective change processes.

Our panelists:
This event is co-hosted with Thrive Law. You’ll hear from:

Jodie Hill: Founder of Thrive Law, a law firm that practices law differently and where people matter. Jodie is disrupting the legal sector with her forward thinking and innovative approach to the law by creating a uniquely positioned law firm that helps organisations get the very best from their people. Because wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and belonging, underpins Thrive’s approach and advice.

Will Fieldsend: Head of IT and InfoSec at Genio, Will works to ensure that every member of the team has the tools they need to succeed. His lived experiences with neurodiversity mean that he understands that not one solution works for everyone.

Laura Howells-Barby: Laura is a Senior Product Manager at Genio. She builds tools that meet a diversity of learner needs, and has recently lead her own team through a number of significant changes in the workplace.

Together, we’ll uncover how rethinking communication, leadership, and company culture can transform moments of change into opportunities for growth and innovation for all.

Key takeaways:

  • Practical Tools for Leaders: Get to grips with tangible steps to create a supportive environment. Learn how to build trust with neurodivergent individuals and ensure they feel comfortable voicing their needs.
  • The Power of Psychological Safety: Understand why psychological safety is not just a buzzword, but the cornerstone of successful, inclusive change. We’ll explore how to foster a culture where everyone feels secure enough to be themselves.
  • Beyond the Metrics: Go past simple participation rates and learn how to truly measure the success of neuro-inclusive change. Discover what to look for to ensure your initiatives are making a genuine, lasting impact.

Breakfast is included (selection of fruits, granolas, and pastries)
