Join us for our July Mesilla Valley Timebank Orientation!
📅 Wednesday, July 9th
🕠 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
📍 Thomas Branigan Memorial Library – 2nd Floor
Looking to connect with your community and share your skills? The Mesilla Valley Timebank is a community-based system where people exchange services using time instead of money. You might earn time credits by offering things like cooking lessons, bicycle tune-ups, or organizing help — and spend them to receive services in return.
Why join the timebank?
🧩 Social Connections: Build meaningful relationships and reduce isolation through mutual support.
💪 Empowerment & Skill Sharing: Everyone has something to offer — learn, teach, and grow.
🌱 Community Resilience: Timebanking strengthens our ability to care for one another, especially in challenging times.
💬 We live by five core values of timebanking:
Assets – Everyone has something valuable to offer.
Redefining Work – Contributions of all kinds are honored equally.
Reciprocity – Helping works better when it’s mutual.
Community – Strong relationships build strong communities.
Respect – Every person matters and deserves kindness.
Can’t make it on July 9th? No problem — we offer one-on-one, group, and organizational orientations. Email us at
