Isekai Lotus,
Michael Frusti's next open table top roleplaying game group that he will be running every other week at Tanuki's Trading Post starting on June 7th!
The plan is simple. A silly and fun fantasy game set in the world of Konosuba using the Konosuba trpg system! Not familiar with the series? No problem, it's super simple!
The world is an Isekai. A setting where normal modern day people are reincarnated into another world. A fantasy world that plays off the tropes of traditional fantasy video games!
The players make and play as reincarnated people who go on quests together to level up their skills to one day try and defeat the evil demon king!
Simple right?
The game will be a "Quest of the Week" style game with an open and rotating cast of characters. This will let players swap characters every week if they want, and let new players join in any week. There is no obligation to show up every week. Perfect for new players who want a casual introduction into trpgs! The Focus of the game will be silly, fun, casual roleplay that focuses on player choice and adventure.
The first game will be on June the 7th, then meeting every other week from 1 to 5 pm. Play will start at 1, so coming a bit early is not a bad idea. Michael plans to show up between noon and 1 to hang out and help new players get started with a character. So if it’s your first time, coming around noon is advised. That includes the first week! Michael will bring blank character sheets and simple pre generated characters depending on the player's preferences.
The book itself is super cheap. You can buy a copy of it for $20, which is wild in this day and age! Michael will also have a copy on hand, so it’s not mandatory to buy anything. Michael will also make sure to have extra dice on hand to borrow!
A Note on Content: While the Konosuba anime has a fair share of lewd content, we plan to keep the game’s content more on the PG-13 side of things.
A Note on Table Manners and Distractions: To help keep the game focused and distraction free, I ask that people come to the table with a mindset ready to collaborate together to make the game fun and enjoyable for everyone. We'd like to keep the table a distraction free zone. It’s ok to have your phone to check in on things from time to time, but we ask that people don't bring things that will distract themselves or others from the game.
