We come together this month at Myer's Park, Pavilion "D" with our hosts from Saint George Orthodox Church.
Please bring a labeled dish-to-pass and an open heart to meet new friends. No time to cook? Please be our guest!
In an effort to reach out to a wider spectrum of dinner companions, we've recently expanded our "Dish Menu" to include meat. Meat dishes (Poultry, Beef or Fish) will be served on a separate table, apart from the vegetarian offerings and all dishes should be labeled with ingredients. We hope this will allow everyone to dine comfortably within their desired meal plans.
These monthly Interfaith Community Dinners are a result of collaboration among Lansing United Methodist Church, Al Huda Islamic Center, Congregation Tikkun v’Or, Ithaca Reform Temple, and members of the Lansing Community.
We welcome all of our neighbors from all Faith traditions: Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc., Neighbors with faith in their community, and those unaffiliated with a specific faith group; ALL are truly welcome.
YOU can make a difference. If you or your organization would like to host a future dinner, let us know!
You are welcome and encouraged to share this invitation and bring a friend!
We would be honored and grateful for all in our community who wish to join with us for a special evening of togetherness.
