Every season brings about something fresh to forage, with a variety of plants, berries and mushrooms to identify. You'll be guided by the expertise of our in-house seasoned forager and hunter-gatherer chef, Rob, for an immersive day in nature, where youāll learn the art of foraging and connect with the land, finishing with a tasty seasonal lunch by the fire.
šæ What Youāll Learn: Gain hands-on experience identifying and safely foraging delicious wild ingredients, that are free, abundant and packed full of nutrients. Our aim is to create a day focused on connection, with food, nature and each other while savouring the beauty of the changing seasons.
š£ What to Expect on the Foraging Walk:
Begin with a warm northern welcome and a seasonal wild brew as we gather by the fire and share more info about the day.
Guided foraging walk, the path is mostly flat and includes woodland and coastal scenes. You should be comfortable walking up to 2 miles. We will be stopping at various points and the pace will always be steady, this will take approximately 2.5 hours.

š„ What to Expect for the Lunch:

Our chef and forager will begin preparing a delicious seasonal lunch over the fire.
Enjoy a 2-course lunch, featuring the best of the morningās foraged ingredients and other locally sourced produce.
We love to get you trying as many seasonal teas and tonics as weāve foraged, we also have a wide selection of artisan tea and Atkinson's coffee as well as mushroom teas and organic cacao included.
