Lancaster District Access Forum (LDAF)
are excited to invite you to our
Launch and AGM
Friday the 24th of October.
2.30pm – 5pm.
The Cornerstone
(Sulyard Street, Lancaster LA1 1PX).
What is LDAF?
We are a group set up by, and for, disabled people in the wider Lancaster district. We plan to use our collective voices and lived experience to make our local area more accessible to everyone.
We also welcome carers and non disabled people, who want to help us bring about change.
What’s Happening at the Event?
2:30–3:00 PM: Come say hello, have a drink and snack and get to know us.
3:00–3:45 PM: This time will include:
An Introduction: By our chair person, Abi Mills, about our group and our plans.
A Presentation: The Marketplace and I, a project where disabled people created art about their experiences in shops and other places.
A Q&A session: Where you can ask questions and share ideas.
3:45–4:00 PM: Short break.
4:00 PM: Join us for our Annual General Meeting which includes members agreeing our committee for the year ahead.
Venue information: The Cornerstone is level access and has a Changing Places accessible toilet. We will be using the main cafe area, and we will have a quiet room available if needed.
