Families, come visit the Lancaster Farmers Market for our first Kids' Day of the season!
This will be a special day for kids and their families to enjoy the downtown farmers market. Future Kids' Days will be July 12th and August 9th.
Special guests this week with free kids' activities will include:
• AHA! Children's Museum
• Lancaster Fairfield Community Action's Early Childhood Education
• Squirrel Scout Outdoor School
• Sunshine Smiles
• Storytime with the Fairfield County District Library at 9:30am
At our first Kids' Day, we'll start fundraising for our Kids' Seed Money program that lets kids ages 5 to 12 shop for free at the market. You'll be able to donate at the market or contribute online, and the Seed Money coupons will be distributed at our July Kids' Day.
Our Seed Money program cultivates a love of local in the next generation. Kids ages 5-12 will receive $10 worth of Seed Money coupons to shop the market. Families can then explore the market together while kids shop with our vendors and learn about local food.
(Seed Money coupons available on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last. One packet per visiting child ages 5-12. Accompanying parent or guardian must sign in at the Market Tent.)

At our Community Tent on Kids' Day, visit with Rise Up Arts Alliance to learn about their upcoming productions and projects.
Saint Mary School is our Kids' Day Sponsor. Many thanks to them for helping to make these special days and the entire season possible!
Need to fuel up for the morning? We'll host Brewholders Coffee Trailer with coffee beverages. And across the street at the Double Edge Brewing Co. patio, you can visit this week's food trucks: Panini Paradise and Kulture Kitchen. You can also grab a beer or brunch cocktail in a DORA cup from Double Edge to sip while you shop!
SNAP customers are welcome to shop with any of our food vendors, and we even double up your SNAP purchase with Produce Perks for free fruits & veggies! Visit the Market Tent to get started.
The Lancaster Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown on Chestnut Street between Broad & Columbus, and market runs every Saturday from 8:30 am until noon.
Make this your weekend tradition with a great selection of local vendors. From fresh fruits & veggies to local meats, you can get all your staples for the upcoming week. You'll also find a wide range of baked goods, locally roasted coffee, local honey, handmade soaps, fresh flowers and more!
And remember, right around the corner, the Keller Market House also opens at 8:30 am during market season with even more local foods & handmade artisan goods.
We'll see you at the market!
