Give and Take: Craft and Garden

Calling all sewers and sowers! 🌱🪡

Our next Give and Take Day is is a Craft and Garden Special!

Give and Tkae Days are our take on a car boot - we offer up our community’s donated homewares at dates throughout the year to help reduce waste and encourage a circular economy in our community and across the city.

So the kinds of things we’d love you to donate (and then come along and take) are:

Arts and Crafts materials and equipment
-Wool and fabric
-Sewing and knitting supplies
-Trimmings and fixings – buttons, bows, tape, ribbons
-Unused and complete Craft Kits
-Poster paints, colouring pencils, charcoal (new or barely used)
-Paintbrushes
-Sketch pads or books
-Rolls of paper, wallpaper, items for decoupage
-Beads, mosaic items etc etc
-Books about arts and/or crafts

Plant and Gardening Items
-We’ll be running a Plant Swap that day, so please bring along seedlings, small plants or cuttings to share, labelled and pest free!
-Packets of seeds
-Garden pots – clean please (or at least not really really dirty!)
-Seed trays
-Watering cans
-Hand tools for gardening (sorry we can’t store big stuff like rakes..)
-Kneelers
-Books about plants or gardening
