Nimesh began formal tabla training at the age of six under Nhuchhe Darshandhari, later continuing under Tabla Maestro Late Rabin Lal Shrestha, a key figure in Nepal’s classical music scene. He further honed his artistry under Bijay Shrestha, son of his late guru, continuing a strong and respected musical lineage.
In Nepal, Nimesh built a strong reputation as both a solo performer and accompanying artist, collaborating with senior national-level musicians.
Currently based in Pune, , Nimesh is pursuing higher studies in music in India and is training under the guidance of Pandit Yogesh Samsi , one of the world’s most respected tabla maestros. His journey reflects a lifelong devotion to rhythm, heritage, and innovation.
