Teens! Don't sleep on this fun. Because while we're launching our Summer Reading Program with a petting zoo, and those are a beloved event for all of us, we're thinking that grabbing a slice and getting some book recs might be a better launch party for the hungriest crowd. If you find yourself hungry for more than cheesy carbs, buckle up for some luck of the draw games and prizes. We have a summer of events lined up just for the 13yrs+ crowd and there is something for everyone.
Teen programming will be at 2pm on Wednesdays (unless otherwise noted). There is no reservation required for any of our teen events, and all programs and supplies are free.
Be sure to attend our expanded Maker Mondays for the month of July, 2-4pm. We're collaborating with Ashville Library for a large canvas-exchange-paint-a-thon. Be a part of a lasting community art piece and make your mark on this exciting new art project that pairs perfectly for our theme this summer, Color Our World.
Compete to earn grand prizes at the end of the summer program by registering online with READsquared. This online platform is where you can work on different activities, earn badges, and log your reading minutes.
