Good To Be King w/ Todd Partridge & the Whiskey Gospel

While Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2026, the Stone Pier Concert Series will celebrate this iconic rock band a year early with a tribute performance by Good To Be King. This Iowa-based group was started in 2002 as a four-piece band called The Jesters, with a handful of Petty songs on their set list that they played regularly at local venues. With the passing of Tom Petty in August 2017, the band decided they would like to play an exclusive tribute show and after a sellout performance, Good To Be King was born.

Todd Partridge’s return to the Stone Pier stage this year has special significance, since he played the very first Stone Pier show with critically acclaimed King Of The Tramps in 2001. With 10 albums of original music under his belt, Partridge has proven that he has a unique voice and has used it to define his own brand of American Roots music. His show is a foot stompin’, hand clappin’, rock and roll revival with heartfelt ballads and sing-a-longs that will prove to be the perfect kickoff to summer concert season.
