Don’t miss the free screening of Plympton’s cult classic short “Guard Dog,” and your first look at 20 original drawings and animation cels pulled straight from his New York studio.

Opening night guests get first dibs on purchasing framed originals from Plympton’s greatest hits—Guard Dog, Slide, How to Kiss, and more—as well as rare, never-before-seen storyboards from an unaired Simpsons couch gag.

Bill Plympton, an Oregon City native turned animation icon, has spent decades hand-drawing every frame of his films and carving out a fiercely independent career. This exhibit offers an up-close look at his artistic process through original artwork and behind-the-scenes videos that dive into his tools, style, and storytelling approach.
