Creative Wellness: Abstract Ink

Monthly Workshop for Adults | 1.5 Hours
Take a mindful pause each month with Creative Wellness: Abstract Ink — a space to explore your creativity through fluid, expressive mark-making using ink-based materials. In this 90-minute session, you’ll experiment with tools like brushes, droppers, twigs, and pens, working with both black and colored inks on various types of paper.

Each class centers around a theme or prompt designed to spark curiosity and self-reflection — from meditative linework and freeform shapes to layered ink washes and spontaneous pattern play. You’ll explore techniques such as wet-on-wet ink flow, resist with wax or salt, and intuitive layering to create abstract pieces that feel both playful and personal.

This is a low-pressure, process-based class — perfect for anyone wanting to slow down, loosen up, and tap into the meditative side of making art. No experience necessary, and all materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.

All materials are provided, although artists are encouraged to bring their own materials they want to experiment with, as well as any snacks or beverages they may want.
