Judges & Newbies Training Clinic

JUDGES CERTIFICATION CLINIC
10am - 12pm

This will be a full certification program to go over everything a judge should know for the highland games. This should help eliminate first games shock and set you up to work any games.

The clinic will include:
- How to set up a games field
(we will do this, dress appropriately)
- duties of a judge
- rules for judging all events in the
highland games and variations you
​may encounter
- concussion and heat stroke protocols
- you will be tested on your knowledge
- you will have to judge several events
before getting your ​certification certificate

There will be a $10.00 charge for this clinic
​(payable that day)

Please contact me directly if you are coming, so I know how many packets to prepare


NEWBIES CLINIC
12pm - 3pm
If you've ever been to the Highland Games and thought, "I could do that" now is your chance. This is a FREE training clinic for people who have never touched a weight before. We will go over the basics and answer any questions you may have.

Ages 14 and over, waiver must be signed before participating. All are welcome.

- Any existing Heavies willing to help, all assistance is greatly appreciated

- Open practice will be available throughout, just practice around my newbies​
