MELT: A Flow-Based Contact Dance Experience
Step into a transformative dance experience where movement meets connection. In MELT, we’ll explore the art of fluid motion through space, inviting your body to soften and flow with ease. This workshop is designed to guide you through dynamic levels—from standing to groundwork—as you find new shapes with partners and let go of tension. Whether you’re new to contact dance or a seasoned mover, MELT offers a safe and playful space to expand your movement vocabulary, deepen your embodiment, and relax into authentic, intuitive dance with others. Come ready to explore, connect, and, most importantly, melt into the moment.
Ecstatic Dance Journey: DJ ALINA – @alinagordon11
Alina Gordon is a classically trained pianist turned conscious DJ, community builder, and founder of Church of Music — a sober, family-friendly dance gathering rooted in radical belonging and love. With deep roots in both musical mastery and spiritual practice, Alina creates soundscapes that move the body, open the heart, and invite collective healing. Her sets blend global beats, soulful basslines, and ecstatic rhythms designed to elevate, awaken, and unite. She has been DJing for over 8 years and recently launched a Music & Arts Academy where she and her team teach DJing, piano, and dance to students of all ages.
Sound Bath: Skylar Temple Singer – @skylartemplesinger
Skylar Temple Singer is a voice activation coach, sound ceremonialist, and founder of Intuitive Sound Healing Arts—a two-day certification that empowers others to awaken their intuition through sound. With over six years of experience guiding voice, movement, and energy across corporate teams, retreats, and festivals, Skylar helps people remember how to love their voices and reclaim their soul’s true expression. Her work centers on ritual voice activation and deep embodiment practices that return us to the body as a sacred instrument. Whether she’s guiding a sound journey or holding space in circle, her presence invites liberation, self-trust, and the power of authentic sound.

Touch is Sacred (Consent to dance with others) ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
YOUR ECSTATIC DANCE HOST:NIKI CARO - @nikiscaro
Niki is a Somatic Embodiment Mentor who combines her passion for dance, background in psychology and training in Somatic Breathwork, Movement and trauma-informed healing to create transformative experiences. She is passionate about providing safe, inclusive spaces where participants can reconnect with their bodies, release stored emotions, and embrace their authentic selves. Drawing from her lifelong dance practice and various styles, including contemporary, jazz, hip hop, Contact Improv, yoga, and acrobatics, Niki empowers individuals to move beyond their thinking minds and tap into their body’s innate wisdom.
Her Ecstatic Dance events offer a holistic blend of movement, mindfulness and connection, fostering deep personal transformation and a strong sense of community. Niki’s dedication to guiding individuals on their healing journeys drives her to create spaces where participants can release tension, express themselves freely, and experience profound connection and liberation. Through her facilitation, participants are empowered to deepen their connection with themselves and others, transforming pain into empowerment and moving toward a more liberated, authentic self.
