Local Author Talk with Alice Benson: Trapped in a Tablet

Join us to meet local author Alice Benson as she shares her new imaginative middle grade novel, Trapped in a Tablet! This heartfelt book is the result of a creative collaboration between herself and her granddaughter. About the book: When ten-year old Dinah goes to her grandmother’s attic to find a book, she’s shocked to find, instead, a girl her age living in an iPad. In the novel, Trapped in a Tablet, Dinah discovers that Lonnie was sucked into an iPad by a technological glitch and needs Dinah’s help to escape. Trapped in a Tablet is a middle grade novel, containing elements of both mystery and light fantasy genres, mixed with humor and emotion, as well as meaningful themes.
