LEE "BINX" WALTON AND BLACKMASS PUBLISHING AT BECK CULTURAL CENTER JUNE 12TH ONE NIGHT ONLY IN KNOXVILLE. TICKETS END JUNE 11TH! —Artist Lee Walton (widely known as American model Binx
Walton) is proud to announce the premiere of her debut multimedia project, Landscapes of the Mind,
which will take place for one night only on Thursday, June 12, 2025, starting at 5:30 p.m., at the Beck
Cultural Exchange Center in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.
This marks a new chapter for Walton, who steps beyond the world of fashion to share an immersive,
introspective experience that blends sound, written word, and sculptural design to explore emotional
landscapes, memory, and personal transformation.
Landscapes of the Mind is an emotionally resonant project composed of three interconnected elements: a
written book, a vinyl record, and a custom high-fidelity sound system designed specifically to unlock the
full sonic experience of the audio. The event will also feature a live discussion and Q&A with Yusuf
Hassan of Black Mass Publishing, deepening the conversation around emotional transformation and
artistic process.
In Walton’s own words:
“Love’s evolution—whether parental, romantic, platonic, or sentimental—shapes our self-representation I
wanted to explore the emotional cycles we suppress and the parts of ourselves we leave
unacknowledged in the name of image or societal expectation. Through this work, I examine how love—in
all its forms —quietly transforms us. Even long after it ends, love continues to shape our sense of self.”
Attendees will be immersed in an atmosphere of quiet intensity and emotional resonance, guided by
Walton’s prose and sound design.
“Beck is devoted to transforming Knoxville's artistic and cultural landscape by providing inspiring and
enlightening experiences for our community,” said Rev. Reneé Kesler, President of Beck. “We are
honored to collaborate with Lee, an Austin-East High School graduate, as she travels from the vibrant
streets of New York to share her debut multimedia project with her beloved hometown of Knoxville.”
A limited number of $60 tickets will be available for purchase online through June 11. Each ticket
includes: a vinyl record, exclusive digital listening access, a book, and entry to the evening’s discussion
and Q&A with Yusuf Hassan of Black Mass Publishing. Additionally, a limited number of exclusive zines,
created in collaboration between Walton and Black Mass Publishing, will also be available for purchase at
the event.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Beck Cultural Exchange Center.
Join us for an unforgettable evening that honors creativity, healing, and the enduring impact of personal
narrative.
