World Turtle Day - Turtle Talk

Lakeside park is a little known gem in middle of the city. It's fairly central and can be accessed by transit and a bit of walking.

Best of all, the lake features turtles.

May to July is turtle mating season, with the peak usually after the long weekend. Turtles also hold a special place in many Indigenous cultures. All turtles in Ontario are a species at risk.

Join us to learn about, celebrate, and honour turtles!

This event is a Pay-what-you-can event. All funds will be used by the guild on materials and supplies for future events, as well as building a field guide for the region. Your support is always appreciated. 😊
