Whether you’re newly engaged or starting to piece together the details, join West Haus Studio and The Walper Hotel for a unique date night experience to help you plan your wedding. Explore the charm of Downtown Kitchener with this special collaboration between West Haus and The Walper Hotel, two venues offering unique backdrops to your wedding celebration.

Unlike a typical weekend wedding expo, this event is designed to be a relaxed, self-paced experience where you can enjoy a night out while gathering inspiration for your big day. Sample beverages, try a few food tastings, and enjoy wedding planning in a more intimate and enjoyable setting.

• Meet Curated Vendors: Connect with a thoughtfully selected group of local wedding professionals, including photographers, planners, florists, DJs, and more.
• Food and Drink: Enjoy a selection of beverages, sweet treats, hors d’oeuvres, and more
• Visual Inspiration: See setups and decorations, providing a glimpse into how your wedding could look. Gather inspiration and ideas as you visit each location.
• Live Music: Live music performances throughout the evening to set the mood as you explore each space.

This event takes place across both West Haus Studio and The Walper Hotel, and where you begin is completely up to you. Explore both locations between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM, moving at your own pace throughout the evening. A variety of vendors will be featured at each location.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a tote bag with your Date Night Card, guiding you through the experience at both venues. As you meet vendors, collect stickers at each stop. Once your card is complete, return it for your chance to win the Grand Prize.

There is street parking available throughout Downtown Kitchener, as well as nearby parking lots:

• 1. Duke Street Parking Garage (Paid Parking)
• 2. Charles & Benton Garage (Paid Parking)
• 3. Lot 9: 40 Ontario Street South (Free after 5 PM)
• 4. 19 Queen Street North (Free after 5 PM)

Ion Stops:

Southbound passengers: exit the ION at Queen Station (on Charles St. W between Queen St. S and Benton St.).
Northbound passengers: exit the ION at Frederick Station (on Frederick St. between King St. E and Duke St. W).
